Not sure if i can call this a suggestion but there's a track that reminds me somewhat of the Softshred style Myrone is doing so far.

An instrumental version of the main theme of a 1986 hockey drama from Québec. Just something that stayed in my head ever since.

I always liked this track from AKIRA.

and it's not 80s but there's a band called apollo 440 whose music ALWAYS sounded very 80s to me.

oH MY GOD THANKS FOR LINKING THIS, I instantly recognized it and I wasn't really sure why but after googling it I realized this was one of my first PS1 games! I haven't played this since I was in first grade and just hearing this again hit home like crazy.

As for something to do with the suggestions though, I recommend this:

It was my FAVORITE song in SSX: Tricky, it got me so hype lmao, especially at 2:39. I think something like this would fit somewhere in the game.
